Basically, this site is my semi-private journal. I’m trying to move into screenplay writing from the mundane world of technical writing and online computer-based-training packaging. I’d say more about that, but I can’t right now. Perhaps if this little venture is successful I can write more.
If you’re wondering where the picture on the header was taken, it’s Mt. Ascutney, in Vermont, circa 1972. It’s a panorama stitched together from a bunch of Super8 stills that were transferred from some home movies. I grew up in the shadow of that mountain, on the New Hampshire side, and always think of it and the surrounding forest when I write.
So if you ever see one of my films or read one of my screenplays, and the setting is some generic New England small town, you can be sure it has its roots in the lower Connecticut River Valley on the NH side.
