About Samuel: An idyllic life in Massachusetts, in a Boston suburb, with my love, Nora. Living in a perfect blend of nature and technology. Quick access to culture or hiking. Night games at Fenway, walks along the Esplanade, concerts at the Hatch Shell.

Then, a new baby to share it all with.

But the stories on the television started getting scarier and scarier, until it finally happened. They finally did it.

As soon as the news hit, Nora and I headed up to the Vault on the hill, she with one-year-old Shaun in her arms. We were lucky. They were taking names at the gate, and ours was on it. I had been so irritated when Nora had opened the door for the Vault-Tec rep that day and had called me over to talk to him, but that day, she had saved us.

We saw the bombs hit Boston just as we were lowered into the depths of Vault 111.

About Aaron: I started this site as an attempt to stick to a regular writing routine. It’s sort of my writing “playground.” It’s not 100% lore accurate, and it’s not perfect. The goal is to just keep moving forward, to keep writing.

There is no set release schedule, but I try to end up with about seven produced minutes per week. Lately, this has meant a 15-minute episode every couple weeks. The MindFog podcast (audio version of each post) is now posted simultaneously with each blog post. I consider the audio the “real version” of the story, and this blog is the companion.

Thanks for joining me on my Fallout 4 journey, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for the absolutely amazing reviews you have been posting on iTunes, and also thanks to my supporters on Patreon!

Michael from The Fallout Feed (excellent Fallout 4 podcast to which you should subscribe immediately) invited me on for Episode 22 to chat about MindFog, and we had a great conversation. If you’re interested in some “Behind the Scenes,” I’ve embedded the episode to the right. Just click play and select Episode 22. The Fallout Feed is also available on iTunes. Thanks, Michael!
